"I tried Egoscue with Sue because I'd been having a flare up of the hip and lower back pain I had years ago. It seems like my return to bike riding along with sitting in front of a computer too much was putting it out of alignment.


Sue has given me great exercises to do, each time we've met. I can't believe it's so easy to have an appointment over Zoom. I think I'll prefer it even after the pandemic, because it's so much easier to fit into my schedule.


The exercises only take fifteen or so minutes to do and they're really helping with my pain. I'm motivated to do them, because I know they help quickly.


I've done Iyengar Yoga for years and love it, but I like that these exercise get me into alignment so that I can enjoy my yoga, bike riding and walking.


Sue is terrific. She's a great listener and is gifted in seeing where I'm out of alignment, even when I can't see it."

"A year ago I had my knee drained twice and to add insult to injury, I got frozen shoulder too!! I wanted to take one of Sue's classes but was too injured to participate. "Sue's Posture Alignment class is the go-to for countering the daily activities of post-Covid life, distant working, and sitting that we are all dealing with. Especially when in pain. I have done yoga, tai chi, and qi gong, which are all great, YET.. this class is designed for what we are all going through right now! "I started taking Egoscue Posture classes with Sue Butzow about six months ago, and I have had an incredibly positive experience every single time. Sue is extremely professional and thoughtful, and she has the ability to accurately assess problematic areas and successfully help resolve them. 


Sue organizes each class with the needs of the attending students in mind, but is flexible enough to make adjustments as necessary. I have participated in classes where she has successfully addressed the needs of an elderly student with mobility issues alongside younger, less restricted students. She keeps in contact with her students to remind us about class days and times, which is very helpful. She keeps us informed of anything that we may need to know ahead of time, and herself comes to class prepared to provide everything we may need.


Sue's teaching style is dynamic, positive, and effective. She really listens to her students and provides exercises and ideas that truly help each individual. I myself came in with some persistent pain in my shoulder. Sue listened to me, provided some suggestions and exercises which immediately started to help, and as a result I am no longer dealing with this pain in my daily life. I have felt better after every single class, and usually with more energy than when I came in. Sue's classes are different because they are highly individualized, and therefore as effective as physical therapy for the aches and pains of life. Through Sue's classes, I have learned that what may be causing pain on one part of the body may be due to needing to activate or work a small muscle in an entirely different area of the body.
